University of Delhi UG Admissions 2023: The University of Delhi has announced that the registration of Undergraduate courses for spot admission will begin on 29th August 2023 at 5 p.m. The spot admission system is for the students who had applied for the UG courses via entrance or merit but could not qualify. Therefore, DU gives a chance of spot admission with only selective seats. However, only the students who have applied for the seat will be allowed for this round. Candidates have a selection of courses and universities to choose the ideal one, on their availability. The university mentions the vacant seats in respective subject courses. The candidates can apply for any of the courses and their selection will be based on their eligibility.
University of Delhi UG Admissions 2023: Important dates for spot admission
The last date to apply for this is on 30th August 2023. This is for round 1 of spot admission for most courses. Moreover, the results are going to be declared on 1st September, allotting seats to the selected candidates. The spot admission registration is going to be live at 5 p.m. sharp and will close in two days. Therefore, the registration link will go offline at 4:59 p.m. sharp on 30th August. Candidates who have not been allotted any seats yet must apply in the given window to secure a seat. Apart from this, the admissions will be declared between the 1st to 3rd of September, and the selected student is required to accept the seat allotted to them. Furthermore, the admission process will be completed on 5th September, along with the fee submission, finalizing the admission of the student to the said university.
How to register
Step 1 – Go to the official CSAS portal of Delhi University – admission.uod.ac.in.
Step 2- Find the option, UG Admission 2023 and click on it
Step 3- Click on the registration link by adding your credentials
Step 4- A page will appear displaying the vacant seats. Select the seat by filling out the form
Step 5- Candidates can select as many seats as they want
Step 6- Review the details once again and pay the registration fee
Step 7- Once the registration fee is paid, click submit
Step 8- A confirmation page will appear, click download on it for future needs.
