Telangana State DSC Recruitment 2024 brings new opportunities for aspiring teachers and non-teaching staff. The Commissioner of School Education, Telangana, has made significant changes to the recruitment process, affecting both previously applied candidates and fresh applicants.
Cancellation of Previous Notification
The earlier notification for 5,089 vacancies, released on September 6, 2023, has been cancelled. However, candidates who had applied for these vacancies need not worry as their applications will be carried forward automatically.
New Vacancy Details
A fresh notification has been issued, announcing 4,957 vacancies for teachers under various categories. Additionally, there are 796 vacancies for Special Education Teachers in the Primary level and 220 vacancies for Special Education Teachers in the Upper Primary/Secondary level in Government and Local Body Schools. This brings the total number of vacancies to be filled through TS DSC recruitment 2024 to 11,062.
Application Process
Fresh applications for these vacancies will be accepted between March 3 and April 2, 2024, on the official website schooledu.telangana.gov.in. It’s imperative for applicants to thoroughly review the Information Bulletin to ensure eligibility before proceeding with the application process. The Information Bulletin will be available for download free of cost from the website starting March 4, 2024.
Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹1,000 per post applied. This means that if applying for multiple positions, separate fees of ₹1,000 per post must be paid.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must fall within the age group of 18-46 years as of July 1, 2023, to be eligible for this recruitment drive. Age relaxation will be applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.
