The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the commencement of the SBI Clerk Recruitment 2023 for the position of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre. This recruitment drive aims to fill 8283 vacancies, offering a lucrative opportunity for eligible candidates to join one of India’s premier banking institutions.

To be eligible for the SBI Clerk position, candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification acknowledged by the Central Government. Those with an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before December 31, 2023. The age limit for applicants is between 20 to 28 years.
The selection process involves an online test, including Preliminary and Main exams, along with a test of the specified opted local language. The Online Preliminary Exam consists of Objective Tests for 100 marks, conducted online within a 1-hour duration. The test encompasses three sections: English language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability.
Applicants from the General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹750/-. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, ESM, and DESM categories are exempted from payment of application fees.
