Railway Recruitment Cell, Northern Railway, has released a notification inviting applications for Apprentice posts. This recruitment drive aims to fill 3081 positions within the organization. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website of RRC NR at rrcnr.org.
Important Dates:
- Registration starts on December 11, 2023.
- The last date for registration is January 1, 2024.
- Merit list display on February 12, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have passed the SSC/Matriculation/10th class examination or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized Board. Additionally, candidates must have completed ITI in the relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized by the Government of India. The age limit is set between 15 to 24 years.
Selection Process
The selection process involves the screening and scrutiny of applications. No written test or viva will be conducted. Act apprentices will be selected based on merit, calculated by averaging the percentage marks obtained in both matriculation/SSC/10th and ITI examinations, with equal weightage given to both.
Application Fees
An application fee of ₹100/- is applicable and must be paid online during the application process. However, SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates are exempt from any fees. RRC NR strictly does not accept application fees in cash, cheque, money order, IPO, demand draft, central recruitment fee stamp, etc.
