The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the release of admit cards for the re-examination of the SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024. The exam is for the recruitment of constables in Central Armed Police Forces, Secretariat Security Force, and rifleman in Assam Rifles. Candidates scheduled to appear for the re-exam on March 30 can now download their hall tickets from the official website — ssc.gov.in.
Re-Examination Details
The SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024 initially held between February 20 and March 7 faced cancellation due to venue-specific technical issues. Now, a re-examination has been scheduled to accommodate affected candidates. As per the official notification, the re-exam will be conducted for 16,185 candidates from various cities including Patna, Gaya, Lucknow, New Delhi, Ghaziabad, Ahmedabad, Kanpur, Meerut, and Varanasi.
Eligibility for Re-Examination
Only candidates who appeared for the computer-based exam for constable (general duty) in CAPFs, SSF, and Rifleman (general duty) in Assam Rifles between February 20, 2024, and March 7, 2024, are eligible to participate in the re-examination. It’s crucial to note that only those who appeared in the previous exam are permitted to appear in the re-examination.
Downloading Admit Cards
Candidates can download their admit cards for the re-examination from the official website — ssc.gov.in. It is essential to carry the admit card to the examination center, as entry without it may not be allowed.
