Even though the application process for the recruitment of 37 thousand posts of constable in Uttar Pradesh Police has not started yet, but there is great news for lakhs of candidates who are preparing for this recruitment. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) will now recruit more than 52 thousand posts of constable rank in UP Police. According to an official update shared by the UP government, now 52299 posts will be filled by the board. These will include 41811 posts of Constable Civil Police, 8540 posts of Constable PAC, 1007 Firemen and 1341 posts of Constable Uttar Pradesh Special Security Force.
This recruitment will be the biggest recruitment in the history of Uttar Pradesh Police. Earlier, 37 thousand constable posts were to be recruited in Uttar Pradesh Police.

The tender can be issued by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) by July 15, 2023, for the selection process and other works to be conducted for the recruitment of more than 52 thousand constable posts in Uttar Pradesh Police. After selection of agency from this process recruitment notification will be released and application process will also start. On the other hand, this recruitment is likely to be completed by July 2024.
Earlier also the tender for the recruitment of Constable was taken out by UPPRPB, but it was canceled after receiving the application from only one agency Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). On the other hand, due to the huge number of candidates (likely more than 25 lakhs) as well as fear of copying mafia and solver gang, TCS also withdrew the application. However, this time two agencies have shown interest in taking the tender for UP Police Constable Recruitment 2023.
