The Ministry of Education revealed a pressing concern – over 8.4 lakh teaching vacancies in government schools at both elementary and secondary levels across India. With 7.2 lakh positions at the primary level and 1.2 lakh at the secondary level, addressing these vacancies became a focal point for the education sector.
CBSE’s Expansion to the UAE
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced a groundbreaking move as CBSE plans to establish an office in the UAE. Revamped Board Exam System
A significant shift occurred in the board examination system as per the Ministry of Education’s new curriculum framework. Expansion of Sainik Schools
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh approved the establishment of 23 new Sainik schools to provide quality education and enhance career opportunities, particularly in the Armed Forces. This initiative, in partnership with NGOs, private schools, and state governments, aims to instill discipline and leadership skills in students.
