According to the results released on Monday, only 67.26 percent (4,14,281) of the 6,15,908 students who took the Class 10 public examinations in Andhra Pradesh this year passed. This is the lowest pass rate in Class 10 exams since 2007, when 73 percent of students in the then-united Andhra Pradesh passed the exam.

“There were no irregularities in the exam administration” said a senior official from an Education Dept.

Meanwhile, official sources claim that a “realistic appraisal” led to a low pass rate. “We made certain that there were no irregularities in the administration of the exams, and that the evaluation was done in a realistic manner.” “This is obviously reflected in the overall findings,” said a senior official from the Department of Education.

This is the lowest pass rate in Class 10 exams since 2007, when 73 percent of students in the then-united Andhra Pradesh passed the exam.

After a two-year hiatus, class 10 exams were held from April 27 to May 9 this year. Because the public tests could not be held because to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021, all students were considered passed.
In terms of passing the tests, girls (70.70%) outnumbered boys (64.02%).
Of the total number of qualified students, 3,17,789 were in the first division, earning more than 60% of the total.

71 schools had a 0 percent pass rate in Andhra Pradesh state board result

The findings also revealed that 797 schools in the state received a perfect grade, while 71 received a zero. Students who did not pass the Advanced Placement SSC Class 10 exams in 2022 should be aware that the Board will hold advanced supplemental tests from July 6 to 15.
