The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has officially released the results for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Exam 3. Students who appeared for the exam can now check their results online. To access their scores, candidates should visit the official websites—karresults.nic.in or kseab.karnataka.gov.in—and log in using their Registration Number and Date of Birth.

If you’re looking to check your results, here’s a simple guide:
- Visit the official website: karresults.nic.in.
- On the homepage, click on the link that reads ‘SSLC 2024 BEST OF EXAM – 1, 2 & 3 RESULT ANNOUNCED ON 26/08/2024’.
- You’ll be directed to a new page.
- Enter your login credentials—Registration Number and Date of Birth.
- View your result, and don’t forget to download a copy.
- For future reference, it’s advisable to print out the result.
Exam Overview: SSLC Exam 3 and Previous Results
The SSLC Exam 3 took place between August 2 and August 9 in a traditional pen-and-paper format. Before this, the SSLC Exam 2 results were declared on July 10, following exams held from June 14 to June 21. Earlier in the year, the SSLC Exam 1 results were announced on May 9, after exams conducted from March 25 to April 6.
A Concerning Drop in Pass Rates
This year’s SSLC results revealed a significant drop in the pass rate—down by 30%. Shockingly, 78 schools across Karnataka, including three in Bengaluru, reported a zero percent pass rate. Despite these concerning numbers, girls continued to outperform boys, achieving an 81% pass rate compared to the boys’ 65%.
Improving Scores with the Best of Three
To help students enhance their scores, the board is offering a unique opportunity: students can retain the highest marks achieved across the three SSLC exams. This flexible approach aims to provide better opportunities for further education and employment, ensuring that students have a fair chance to succeed.
