The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results for the CA Intermediate and Final exams conducted in November 2023. A total of 8,650 candidates have successfully qualified as Chartered Accountants. Let’s delve into the detailed breakdown of the results.

CA Intermediate Group I Results

  • Out of 1,17,304 candidates appearing for the Inter Group I exams, 19,686 candidates passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 16.78.
  • For Inter Group II exams, 93,638 candidates participated, with 17,957 passing, achieving a pass percentage of 19.18.
  • In both groups combined, 53,459 candidates attempted the exams, and only 5,204 candidates passed, leading to an overall pass percentage of 9.73.

CA Final Results

  • In the CA Final Group 1 exams, out of 65,294 candidates, only 6,176 candidates passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 9.46.
  • For CA Final Group 2 exams, 62,679 candidates appeared, and 13,540 candidates cleared, contributing to an overall pass percentage of 21.6.

Examination Details

  • CA Inter exams took place on November 2, 4, 6, and 8, 2023, in 563 exam centers.
  • CA Final exams were conducted on November 1, 3, 5, 7 (Group 1), and November 9, 11, 14, 16 (Group 2), 2023, across 477 exam centers.

How to Check Results

Candidates can check the results on the official websites – icai.org and icai.nic.in, using their ICAI registration numbers, roll numbers, and date of birth.

Passing Criteria

To qualify, candidates needed to score at least 40% in each paper and a minimum of 50% overall in each group.
