DME Alumni Network organized its Alumni Meet-MILAN 2023 on December 2 at Amphitheatre, Delhi Metropolitan Education. This meet was organized with the objective to have strong bonding with alumni.
The event resonated with joy and nostalgia as Delhi Metropolitan Education warmly embraced and reunited with alumni from the Law, Media, and Management departments. It started with lamp lighting ceremony by dignitaries that was followed by soulful Saraswati Vandana rendition. The event featured a diverse array of performances, including Dance, Music, Bhangra, a Fashion Show, Drama, Mimicry, Games, DJ and a Laptop Donation Ceremony by few Alumni.
Esteemed Dignitaries shared their thoughtful video messages for the alumni. In the message, Mr. Aman Sahni, Vice Chairman, DME extended a heartfelt welcome to the esteemed alumni at DME. Recognizing them as the pillars of growth, he earnestly urged their contribution through guidance and energy for the institution’s continued success. Justice Bhanwar Singh, Director General, DME, in his address to the alumni, encouraged them to reminisce about cherished college moments and openly share their life experiences with fellow alumni, fostering a sense of camaraderie and connection within the DME community.
Dr. Ambrish Saxena, Dean, DME Media School, emphasized the enduring bond between students and their alma mater. Recognizing the pivotal role alumni play in building great institutions, he expressed hope that the gathered individuals will contribute to the ongoing success of DME.
Dr. Poorva Ranjan, Head, DME Management School, expressed the joy of reuniting with familiar faces on campus. She underscored the meaningful journey of students evolving into alumni, emphasizing their growth and transition.
Dr. R.K. Randhawa, Academic Coordinator, DME Law School, highlights the enriching journey of college leading to wisdom, expressing hope that it guides alumni on life’s ascent. Excitingly, she announces the commencement of LLM courses next academic year, inviting alumni back to the campus.
The cultural extravaganza captivated the audience, immersing them in an enchanting evening, brimming with enduring memories to be cherished for a lifetime. The cultural programme was followed by dinner and recollections of time spent and promises to meet again.
