Educational Qualifications
To be eligible for the Nursing Officer position, you must meet the following educational requirements:
- Possess B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute or university by the Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council.
- Alternatively, have B.Sc. (Post-Certificate)/Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute or university by the Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council, and be registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council.
- Or hold a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board or Council, and be registered as Nurse & Midwife in State/Indian Nursing Council.
- Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of two years’ experience in a hospital with a minimum of 50 beds, registered with the competent district medical authority, post acquiring the educational qualification.
