The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the commencement of applications for the SSC CHSL 2024 examination. This prestigious examination aims to fill approximately 3,712 vacancies across various departments. Interested candidates can submit their applications on the official website of the commission, ssc.gov.in, from April 8 to May 7, 2024, until 11 pm.

- Application window: April 8 to May 7 (11 pm)
- Last date for fee payment: May 8 (11 pm)
- Correction window: May 10 to 11 (11 pm)
- Tier 1 exam dates: July 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, 2024
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must ensure they meet the following criteria:
- Age limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 27 years old as of August 1, 2024. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates.
- Educational qualifications:
- For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/DEO Grade ‘A’: Class 12 in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized board or equivalent.
- For DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ in other departments or ministries and all LDC/JSA posts: Class 12 from a recognized board or university.
- Candidates appearing in their Class 12 or equivalent examination can also apply if they possess essential qualifications by August 1, 2024.
Application Process and Fee
- Application fee: ₹100
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from paying the fee.
Candidates must submit their applications within the specified deadline and ensure all details provided are accurate. Any corrections can be made during the correction window provided by the commission.
