Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has opened applications for Block Agriculture Officer and various other positions, offering a total of 1051 vacancies. Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the official BPSC website, bpsc.bih.nic.in. The registration window for this recruitment drive will be active from January 15 to January 28, 2024.

  • Agriculture Sub Director: 155 posts
  • Assistant Director (Agricultural Engineering): 19 posts
  • Assistant Director (Plant Protection): 11 posts
  • Block Agriculture Officer: 866 posts

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for these positions should possess a graduation degree from a recognized institute or university. Detailed educational qualifications and age limit information can be found on the official website.

Selection Process

The selection process involves a written test, followed by an interview. The written test carries a weightage of 400 marks. Successful candidates in the written test will proceed to the interview round.

Application Fees

  • General Category: ₹750/-
  • SC/ST, Reserved/Unreserved Category Female, Handicapped Category: ₹200/-
  • ₹200/- for each post separately for examinations like Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer/Assistant Director (Crops and equivalent), Assistant Director (Agricultural Engineering), Assistant Director Plant Protection.
