NEET PG 2024: Your Complete Guide to Registration, Exam Date, Eligibility, and More

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) is gearing up to commence the registration process for NEET PG 2024 on its official website soon. According to a recent notification from the National Medical Commission, the exam date has been rescheduled to June 23, 2024, shifting from the previously set date of July 7, 2024. However, the cut-off date for NEET PG 2024 remains unchanged at August 15.

Registration Process

Prospective candidates are required to register online and submit their application forms for the NEET PG 2024 exam. Here’s a step-by-step guide to the registration process:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the official website of NEET PG 2024.
  2. Access the Direct Link: Click on the direct link tab available on the homepage.
  3. Login: Click on the “New Login” option.
  4. Fill Application Form: Complete the application form with necessary details.
  5. Document Upload: Upload all required documents.
  6. Submission: Click on submit after verifying all details.

Upon successful submission, download and print the application form for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for NEET PG 2024, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

  • Completion of MBBS degree or possession of a provisional pass certificate from a recognized medical institute in India.
  • Provisional or permanent registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the State Medical Council (SMC).

Exam Details

  • Exam Pattern: NEET PG Exam comprises 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with each question carrying 4 marks, making the total marks for the exam 800.
  • Scoring: Candidates receive 4 marks for each correct answer. However, for every incorrect response, one mark is deducted as a penalty.

Result Declaration

The results for NEET PG 2024 will be announced by July 15, 2024. Applicants can check the official website, nbe.edu.in, for updates and further information.
