Admission Procedure and Eligibility Criteria

IIT Jodhpur adopts a centralized admission procedure through COAP, with the release of offers anticipated in the 2nd week of May, spanning across 10 rounds. Prospective applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science (4-year program) or a master’s degree in relevant fields.
- Attain a minimum of 60% marks for GEN/OBC (55% for SC/ST/PD) category or a minimum CGPA of 6.0 for GEN/OBC (5.5 for SC/ST/PD) category.
- Full-time regular applicants should have a valid GATE score or be exempted from GATE as per the Education Ministry’s circular.
- Part-time/Part-time (online)/External/Employer Sponsored applicants must have at least two years of work experience in relevant domains.
