Expression of Interest (EOI) Deadline: March 17
Interested candidates can apply for the UQ-IITD Joint PhD programme until March 17 through the official website uqidar.org. This programme promises a unique academic journey with two esteemed institutions.
Dual Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree
Upon completion of the programme, students will be conferred with a jointly awarded Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from both IIT Delhi and the University of Queensland. This ensures global recognition and credibility for their academic achievements.

Eligibility Criteria
While possessing a valid GATE, GRE, NET, or CSIR score is preferred, it is not mandatory. However, candidates should aim for a good score in any of these exams to enhance their competitiveness. Those without a valid GATE score can substitute it with a minimum of two years of professional work experience, provided they meet all other eligibility criteria.
English Language Proficiency Requirements
Applicants can demonstrate English language proficiency through various means, such as completing a bachelor’s or master’s degree programme where English was the medium of instruction and assessment. Alternatively, evidence of at least two years of full-time study in English from a recognized institution within the last five years can fulfill the requirements.
