Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2022 (TNEA 2022) online registration has begun. Candidates can apply for the TNEA online until July 19 at tneaonline.org. TNEA applications are required for admission to BTech programmes. After TNEA application and assignment, no entrance examination is held. The selection of Btech seats is based on the results of the 10+2 examination. After TNEA counselling, students are offered engineering admissions according on their merit. TNEA is administered by Tamil Nadu’s Directorate of Technical Education, or DoTE.

According to the TNEA information brochure, a merit list will be developed based on the marks received in the relevant disciplines, namely Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, which will be lowered to 200 (Maths – 100, Physics – 50, and Chemistry – 50).

The applicants will be divided into groups based on their ranking, and each group will be allowed to participate in counselling in turn, according to the statement.

TNEA 2022 will have four rounds of counselling. For each round, the applicant must log onto the TNEA site with his or her user ID and password (which must be the same as those used at the time of registration).
