NTA has uploaded the provisional answer key for both Paper 1 as well as Paper 2. The window to raise objections is also open now. Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key by paying a fee of Rs. 200 per question. Please note, the fee is non-refundable. The window to raise objections would remain open till 5 pm on July 4, 2022. Direct link to check answer key along with important instructions and how to calculate marks is provided below.

A panel of specialists would evaluate and confirm any challenges or objections made. The answer key would be updated if the same were approved. If any changes are made, a final answer key will be created based on those changes. The final answer key would subsequently be prepared, and used to calculate the JEE main result.

NTA has further advised the students to go through the provisional answer key and raise objectiond within the window to do so. Any communication received outside the window or by any other means would be summarily rejected. Also, objections raised without fee payment would also be rejected. The window closes at 5:00 pm on July 4, 2022.

JEE Mains 2022: How marks are calculate

With the JEE Main 2022 answer keys released, students can also calculate the marks they have scored in their JEE Main 2022 Session 1 examination. The students can simply computer the marks they are likely to score.

Students must determine the total number of correct and incorrect questions in order to determine their final grade. JEE Main 2022 Score: 4 times the sum of all correctly marked responses minus all incorrectly marked responses.
Keep in mind that all questions this year have negative grading. Even numerically based questions would receive a failing grade if the response did not add up. Questions that are not attempted receive no marking.
