DRDO Scientist B Syllabus 2022: Recruitment and Assessment Center (RAC) is inviting online applications from Graduate Engineers and Postgraduate students in Science including students appearing in their final year examination and appearing for Scientist ‘B’ 630 Finance/Provisional degree for recruitment to the postlikely to receive.
Recruitment is to be done in specific disciplines and categories in Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA).
The application process for this recruitment has started. Applications can be made for recruitment to these posts till 29 July 2022. At the same time, the written examination for these posts will be held on October 16.
Candidates with Electronics & Communications Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering can apply for DRDO, ADA and DST.
Recruitment to the subjects given under Category-I will be done on the basis of valid GATE score, a written test and personal interview.
Whereas in the subjects under Category-II, recruitment will be done on the basis of valid GATE score and personal interview.
Screening/Shortlisting
Subject/Discipline under Category-1
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for written test on the basis of GATE score in the ratio of 1:25, provided their availability is in the order of merit list discipline-wise, category-wise.
All eligible IIT and NIT Graduate Engineers will be called for written test with minimum 80 per cent aggregate marks in EQ degree.
Candidates appearing for written test will be shortlisted for Personal Interview in the ratio of 1:5 in the order of merit list prepared on the basis of written test only.
Final Selection
Subject/Discipline under Category-1
The final selection of the candidates will be on the basis of category wise merit as per the overall weightage of 80 per cent marks in the written examination and 20 per cent marks in the personal interview.
