Entrepreneurial Fest conducted by E-cell Jamia Millia Islamia called ‘Exuberance’ had an ebullient run on 20 March. The efforts and diligence of the members resulted in the conception of the enjoyable event. It was a huddled seminar including various competitions which aim to foster business acumen among the crowd. Students of Jamia Milia Islamia and other universities participated in the competitions in the Exuberance.
The inauguration ceremony was conducted at the Faculty of Architecture and Ekistics under the care of Prof. Simi malhotra, Head of the department of English around 11 AM. Thus, the advent of awe inspiring activities began like Ideathon, a creative competition to solve critical problems. Many other artistic competitions like Bazm e Kalam, a poetry and essay competition, La Affiche, poster making competition, Udyam, strategy building competition, and biotechnology slide show competition called Sci-Lide, followed by crowd favourite open mic. These various competitions were reviewed by eminent academicians, authors and startup owners. To attract the groovy and vogue audience, a gaming competition was held which held BGMI and Fifa world cup audiences in FeT Auditorium. These activities provided students a platform to display their ingenuity and bag prices.
E-Cell had welcomed budding entrepreneurs to test their business acumen and put up their product stalls. These booths were arranged all around the venue and students enrolled in Jamia Millia Islamia as well as other universities participated. More than 25 stalls were registered and gathered an astonishing crowd. These stalls ranged from creative, clothing, technological and refreshment counters. More than 8000 students enjoyed the pleasant event. It was a memorable success for E-cell.
To display the society’s gratitude towards various jurors, panellists and members of C.I.E, they were awarded a token of appreciation by the E-cell team. The E-Cell team was also felicitated by C.I.E. Budding entrepreneurs and startup owners like Reshabh Sharma, Mubashshir Naseer and Umair Mohammad were invited as chief guests and were honoured with a token of appreciation.
Entrepreneurial panel discussion was conducted to extend the discourse of contemporary global and indian startup sphere. Event closed with a cultural program presenting artistic talent of Jamians around 8 PM. Singing performance weaved a melodious aura for our audience and was the perfect farewell for them.
Exuberance became a platform for students to interact with professionals while enjoying energetically and far. It is sure to say Exuberance has been a wonderful medium for E- Cell JMI to convey its aim of overall professional growth if students tinged with amusement and creativity.
