NEW DELHI: On Wednesday, the Jamia Milia Islamia made an announcement that it will continue offline classes for everyone except 1st-year students. All the deans have been advised by the University to complete all the repair works, maintenance, and renovation of classrooms and laboratories before the classes start.
“The Vice-Chancellor, JMI (Najma Akhtar), on the recommendation of the Dean of Faculties has approved to reopen the university in offline mode from July 16, 2022, for all classes except 1st semester/Year”, the notification read. The JMI continued physical classes for final year postgraduate and final year undergraduate students in March.

Undergraduate students of first and second-year students and first-year post-graduate students have been attending their classes online. Meanwhile, the final year post-graduate students resumed their physical classes on March 2. whereas, for the students of undergraduate final year, the classes resumed in mid-march.
