The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the final results of the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (SSC CHSL 2023). Candidates eagerly awaiting their outcomes can now access the results on the official website of the commission, ssc.gov.in.
Tier 1 Examination Results
The result of the tier 1 examination was declared on September 27, revealing 17,495 candidates shortlisted in list 1 and 1,307 in list 2. An additional tier 1 result was announced on December 12, with 145 candidates qualifying for tier 2.
Tier 2 Examination and Typing Test
The tier 2 exam, held on November 2 and 10, saw 14,548 candidates appearing for the typing test and 1,679 for the data entry speed test.
Option-cum-Preference Forms Submission
Option-cum-preference forms for candidates who appeared in tier 2 were released between February 13 and 18. Out of which, 11,467 candidates submitted their forms for further consideration.
Merit List and Cut-off Marks
The commission has prepared the merit list based on candidates’ performance in sections 1 and 2 of the tier 2 examination, subject to their performance in section 3, which is qualifying in nature. Category-wise cut-off marks have also been announced.
Candidates’ Status
Results of five debarred candidates have not been processed, and six candidates’ results have been withheld due to various reasons, as mentioned in the notification.
Further Process and Communication
After the declaration of the final result, the process of Document Verification and appointment formalities will be undertaken by the Allocated Departments. Candidates who are shortlisted should expect communication from the allocated User Department within six months. If no correspondence is received within this timeframe, candidates must reach out to the concerned User Department. The commission will not entertain any correspondences regarding Document Verification/appointment formalities after the stipulated period.

Detailed marks of both shortlisted and non-shortlisted candidates, along with the final answer keys, will be published shortly, as stated by the commission.
