The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched an online portal for children with special needs (CWSN) to access facilities during the 2024 board exams. All CBSE-affiliated schools are directed to submit details of CWSN students participating in the exams and update the status on the ‘Pariksha Sangam’ portal at parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in.
Application Window Details
The application window, which commenced on January 19, will be open for schools to upload documents and provide details until January 24.
Deadline for Exemption Requests
Schools are required to upload any previous requests for exemptions by the stipulated deadline of January 24. No exemptions will be considered after this date, and offline submissions will not be entertained.
Online Submission Process
To request facilities or exemptions, schools must log in using their credentials on the web portal. The portal will display a list of CWSN students enrolled in the school, along with permissible facilities based on each student’s disability.
Admit Card Details
If CWSN students wish to avail any facilities mentioned, schools must select the appropriate option. These details will then be incorporated into the CBSE admit cards for 2024.
Instructions for Exam Centers
CBSE will provide instructions to exam center superintendents to make necessary arrangements for CWSN students, ensuring a conducive environment during the examinations.
