Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote advanced research collaboration in sustainable mobility. This partnership aligns with Mercedes-Benz’s Ambition 2039, which aims to make its entire fleet of new vehicles net carbon-neutral by 2039.
Joint Efforts for a Sustainable Future
The MoU outlines a comprehensive collaboration framework encompassing joint research, talent development, and innovation initiatives. Both organizations will leverage their respective strengths, including infrastructure, expertise, and academic programs, to drive engineering transformation and pursue long-term research projects.
The scope of the agreement extends to the exchange of information, teaching materials, and scientific publications. Additionally, both parties will explore joint funding opportunities for research projects, intellectual property development, and sponsorships.
