Joint Efforts for a Sustainable Future

The MoU outlines a comprehensive collaboration framework encompassing joint research, talent development, and innovation initiatives. Both organizations will leverage their respective strengths, including infrastructure, expertise, and academic programs, to drive engineering transformation and pursue long-term research projects.

The scope of the agreement extends to the exchange of information, teaching materials, and scientific publications. Additionally, both parties will explore joint funding opportunities for research projects, intellectual property development, and sponsorships.

Building a Greener Future

Expressing his enthusiasm about the partnership, Prof. Govindan Rangarajan, Director of IISc, stated, “We are excited to collaborate with Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India in the field of sustainable mobility and electric vehicles. Research and innovation in this domain not only foster energy independence but also create economic opportunities. This partnership reinforces our commitment to strengthening industry-academia engagements that can make a significant impact in the coming years.”

This collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and IISc marks a significant step towards achieving sustainable mobility solutions and a greener future for transportation.
