Prime Minister Narendra Modi has revealed plans for a Central Tribal University to be established in Telangana’s Mulugu district. The project is set to cost Rs 900 crore and will be named after tribal goddesses, Samakka and Sarakka. The university aims to benefit the youth, particularly those from tribal communities. In addition, the Central University of Hyderabad has been granted the title of “Institution of Eminence” and provided with special funding.
Elevating Educational Institutions and Strengthening Rajasthan’s Educational Hub
During his visit to Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, Prime Minister Modi also laid the foundation stone for various development projects and inaugurated completed structures. This includes five new buildings at Hyderabad University, encompassing the School of Economics, School of Mathematics & Statistics, School of Management Studies, Lecture Hall Complex – III, and Sarojini Naidu School of Arts & Communication. Furthermore, he announced the establishment of a IIIT campus in Kota, strengthening the city’s reputation as an educational hub.
