Atishi: On Friday, 25th August, Atishi Marlena, the minister of education in Delhi, revealed that more and more students are transitioning from private schools to government schools. Moreover, she also stated that this is only happening in Delhi where students have made this switch. For the capital city, it is a big achievement that Athishi Lauded in her speech. Therefore, the amount of students making a shift is a significant moment for the state, the minister of Education reveals. More than 4 lakh students have made the shift in recent years, said Athishi during her speech after the Inauguration of a brand new branch of the B R Ambedkar School of Specialised Excellence or ASoSE at Kohat Enclave in Pitampura, Delhi. During this speech, she stated “”Over 4 lakh students shifted to our schools in the past few years. Delhi is the only state in the country where children are shifting from private schools to government schools,”

During the speech after the Inauguration of B R Ambedkar School of Specialised Excellence at Kohat Enclave in Pitampura, the minister of education in Delhi stated that this school would help them work harder by inspiring them. Along with this, she urged all the students to make the right use of the resources provided by the school to their maximum, helping them learn and grow to reach their utmost potential. The School has 50 classrooms , 9 labs, 2 libraries along with sports equipment and even working elevators.
Athishi talks about the improvement of Government Schools in Delhi
During the speech, she also added that the government schools of Delhi have improved significantly over the years. The quality of education and resources provided by the schools have come a long way in the past couple of years. In her speech, she said, “Our government schools have come a long way and students now feel proud of it.”. With pride, she said that this is the sole reason why over 4 lakh students have shifted from Private schools to Government schools.
