The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras, has officially released the scorecards for the Joint Admissions Test (JAM) 2024. If you’ve appeared for the exam, you can now access your results through the official website of JAM — jam.iitm.ac.in.
How to Check IIT JAM 2024 Results
- Visit the official examination website: Go to jam.iitm.ac.in.
- Access the Result Page: Find and open the JAM 2024 result page.
- Enter Your Details: Provide your enrollment/email ID and JOAPS password.
- Download Your Scorecard: After submitting, download your scorecard.
Important Dates and Details
- The IIT JAM 2024 results were declared on March 21.
- The exam took place on February 11, and the results were accessible from March 22.
- Scorecards can be downloaded from April 2 onwards.
- Online applications for admission were accepted from September 5 to October 25, 2023.
About IIT JAM 2024
- The exam offered seven specializations: Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, and Physics.
- It was a three-hour long Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted at various centers across the country.
- A merit list will be prepared for each specialization based on the available seats in each category.
Admission Opportunities
- Successful candidates can secure admission into MSc (2 years), MSc PhD, Joint MSc PhD, MSc-MTech, and other Post-Bachelor Degree courses offered by IISc and IITs.
- Around 3,000 seats are available in various postgraduate programs at IITs, along with over 2,000 seats at IISc, NITs, IIEST Shibpur, SLIET, and DIAT.
