Understanding GATE Score

The GATE score reflects the relative performance level of the candidate in the test paper. After evaluating the answers, the actual (raw) marks obtained by a candidate are considered for computing the GATE score. For multi-session test papers, the raw marks obtained by candidates in different sessions are converted to normalized marks. These raw or normalized marks are then used for computing the GATE score based on the qualifying marks.
