UP NMMS scheme registration for 2023 now accepts applications until September 28 at entdata.co.in.

The registration deadline for the Uttar Pradesh National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) has been extended, providing students with an additional 10 days to apply. The new deadline is September 28, 2024. To register for the UP NMMS scholarship, visit the official website at entdata.co.in.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the UP NMMS scholarship, students must have completed their Class 7 exams in the 2022-23 academic session with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. However, students from reserved categories, including SC and ST, are eligible with a 5% relaxation in the minimum passing marks requirement. It’s important to note that students enrolled in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), Sainik School, government residential, and private schools are not eligible to participate in the scholarship exam.

How to Apply

To apply for the UP NMMS scholarship for 2024-25, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Visit the UP NMMS scholarship 2024 official website at entdata.co.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, locate and click on the NMMS application form link.

Step 3: Choose the UP NMMS scholarship registration link and proceed to fill out the application form.

Step 4: Upload required documents, including income, caste certificate, photo, and signature.

Step 5: Submit the application form and download a copy for your records.

Important Exam Date

The UP NMMS scholarship exam is scheduled to take place on November 5, 2024. Successful applicants will receive a scholarship of Rs 12,000 per annum during their Class 9 to 12 years of education.
