The National Testing Agency (NTA) has expanded its reach for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024, adding 14 exam centers abroad. This move aims to facilitate candidates residing outside India in taking the examination conveniently.
New Exam Centers Abroad
NTA has introduced 14 foreign cities as exam centers for NEET UG 2024. These include Kuwait City, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Colombo, Doha, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, and Singapore. This expansion opens doors for aspiring medical students residing in these locations to pursue their dreams.
Correction Window for Indian Candidates
For candidates who initially selected exam centers within India but now wish to opt for foreign centers, NTA provides a correction window. This window opens after the registration window closes, allowing candidates to make necessary changes. However, candidates opting for foreign centers may need to pay a differential amount to effect this change.
Registration Process for Foreign Candidates
For those living abroad, NTA has made the registration process straightforward. You can apply and submit your registration by paying the required fee. This ensures that everyone, regardless of where they live, has a fair chance to take the exam.
NTA’s decision not only expands the reach of NEET UG 2024 but also makes it more inclusive for students from different backgrounds and places.
