The Bihar Board has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative to provide free coaching for competitive exams like NEET and JEE. This initiative aims to support students who aspire to pursue medical or engineering careers but lack access to expensive coaching classes. Here’s what you need to know about this remarkable program.
Open to All Students
The program is open to students from any board, including CBSE, ICSE, and others. Students can enroll in this free non-residential education program by applying online.
Selection Process
After applying online, students will undergo an entrance exam and an interview for selection. Selected students will receive coaching for NEET and JEE at educational centers established in divisional headquarters.
Top-Quality Coaching
The coaching will be provided by some of the best teachers in the country, who have previously taught at reputed coaching institutes in Kota, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Kolkata. Special classes for NEET and JEE will be conducted through video conferencing.
Scholarship Opportunity
In addition to free coaching, students will also receive scholarships. A monthly scholarship of one thousand rupees will be provided, along with a total scholarship of Rs 24,000 over two years.

Previous Announcement
Previously, the Bihar School Examination Board announced free coaching for the state’s Class 10 toppers of 2023 to assist them in preparing for JEE and NEET-UG. Students who scored more than 90 percent marks in the BSEB Matric Class 10 exams in 2023 are eligible to apply for this program.
