Union Bank of India (UBI) has announced a recruitment drive for 500 Apprentice posts, inviting eligible candidates to apply online through its official website, unionbankofindia.co.in. The last date to submit applications is September 17, 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to start their careers with one of India’s leading banks.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Apprentice posts at Union Bank of India, candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university or institute. Additionally, applicants should be between 20 to 28 years of age, meaning those born between August 2, 1996, and August 1, 2004 (both dates inclusive), are eligible.
Selection Process
The selection process for these Apprentice posts includes an online test, a Knowledge and Test of the Local Language, and a Medical Examination. The online exam will feature four sections: General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge, with a total duration of 60 minutes. Candidates will need to provide a medical fitness certificate from a registered general physician (minimum qualification: MBBS) upon selection.
Registration and Application Fee
All eligible candidates are required to register on the Government of India’s apprenticeship portals: the NAPS portal (https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) and the NATS Portal (https://nats.education.gov.in). The application fee is ₹800/- for General/OBC category candidates, ₹600/- for female and SC/ST category candidates, and ₹400/- for PWBD candidates. Payment can be made using debit/credit cards, internet banking, or UPI. Please note that any transaction charges for online payment will be borne by the candidates.
