IGNOU launches free UPSC coaching for SC candidates

Scheduled Caste candidates will be given free UPSC coaching by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). The coaching is being offered under the Dr. Ambedkar Center for Excellence (DACE).

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for this by visiting the official website of IGNOU, ignou.ac.in. The last date to apply has been fixed as 30 June 2022.

The Center is inviting applications for the Entrance Examination (AIEE) to be conducted all over India for admission in free UPSC Coaching for Civil Services Examination 2023 (CSE 2023).

The selected candidates will be provided coaching for both Prelims and Mains examinations.

To take admission in this coaching, candidates will have to appear in the Common Entrance Test (CET), which will be conducted by the university. In this entrance test, 100 objective type questions will be asked based on General Knowledge, Language Skill, Reasoning Ability and General Aptitude.

Candidates should note that this scheme is only for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes. Candidate applying for this examination will have to show the duly attested caste certificate issued by the competent authority to the university.

The candidate applying for this exam must have done graduation in any discipline from any recognized university. However, students appearing in the last year of graduation can also apply for this entrance exam.

Candidates should note that this free coaching will be provided to the selected candidates only once in their lifetime, no matter how many times they appear for this exam.
