UP Teacher Vacancy 2022: Selection Process Of TGT

UP Teacher Vacancy 2022: In the Yogi government of UP, there is a good chance to become a teacher in a government school. Applications were invited for the recruitment of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts in the state.

The last date of application for recruitment to these posts was fixed on July 9. Candidates can apply for UP Teacher Recruitment 2022 on the official website upsessb.org.

To apply in TGT and PGT recruitment, Rs 750 for unreserved category and OBC, Rs 450 for EWS and SC category, Rs 250 for ST has been fixed.

Selection Process in TGT Recruitment –

A total of 3539 posts of TGT are to be filled through this recruitment process.

Age Limit- Must have completed 21 years as on 01 July 2022.

For selection to the post of TGT teacher, candidates will have to appear in a written test of 2 hours, in which there will be a question paper of 500 marks. There will be a total of 125 questions in the question paper and 4 marks will be assigned for each question.

Merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance in the examination. Now candidates can apply for recruitment to these posts till July 16, earlier the last date to apply was July 9.


In the advertisement released by the selection board for TGT, there are 577 vacancies in Hindi and English subjects. 540 in Science, 533 in Mathematics, 383 in Social Science, 291 in Sanskrit, 179 in Home Science, 23 in Music, Vocal, 170 in Physical Education, 148 in Arts, 38 in Commerce, Agriculture 47 in subject, 50 in biology subject, 13 in Urdu subject and musical instrumentContains 10 vacancies.

In the advertisement issued by the selection board for PGT, 85 in Hindi subject, 35 in civics subject, 40 in physics subject, 50 in biology subject, 39 in chemistry subject, 52 in geography subject, 22 in maths subject, 76 in English subject, 24 in Sociology subject, 60 in Economics subject.

There are 21 vacancies in Agriculture, 12 in Agriculture, 10 in Pedagogy, 12 in Psychology, 52 in Sanskrit, 14 in Arts, 14 in Commerce and 6 in Home Science.
