CTET 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education administers the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, which was held on 20th August 2023. This exam is taken by individuals who wish to be appointed as teachers in schools. Therefore, over 29 lakh candidates had applied for this test, out of which over 23 Lakh students appeared for the exam held on 20th August 2023. Since the exam, the candidates have been waiting for the answer key to determine their standing.
CTET 2023: Answer Key
The answer key of the test is set to release in the first week of September. Upon any issues with the answer, the candidate can raise their objection regarding the answer. The objection will be acknowledged and checked through, by the experts. Upon finding errors, the answer key will be changed. However, after the release of the final answer key, objections cannot be raised. The final answer key will be released in the 4th week of September. The test has 150 MCQ questions, with 1 mark for each correct answer and 0 for incorrect answers. No negative marking will take place. Last year, over 35 lakh candidates registered for the test, out of which 27 lakh appeared for the exams. Moreover, only 6,65,536 candidates qualified for the exam.
CTET 2023: How to download answer key
Once the answer key is out, here’s how to check it-
Step 1- Go to the official website, ctet.nic.in.
Step 2- On the homepage, find “CTET Paper 1 answer key’ and ‘CTET Paper 2 answer key”, and click on it
Step 3- A new page will appear, and fill in the required details
Step 4- Press ‘submit’
Step 5- The answer key list will appear on the screen
Step 6- click download and check the answer keys for any objections
Step 7- You can also keep a printout for future needs
