The CUET-UG will take place at various centres spread over 554 cities in India and 13 locations outside of the nation, according to the NTA. 9,50,804 applicants have so far enrolled for UG admission to 86 universities, of which 43 are central universities, 13 are state universities, 12 are considered universities, and 18 are private universities. Candidates can take the test in any of the 13 mediums offered and select any combination of 33 languages and 27 unique subjects.

According to the NTA, there are more than 54,000 different subject combinations that applicants have selected, and on average, they have applied to more than five colleges.

The exam will comprise two parts – Part A will have 25 multiple choice questions from English, numerical aptitude/data interpretation, analytical skills, reasoning, and general awareness. In contrast, Part B will have 75 questions on subject-specific topics. The medium of question papers for all the examinations will be English other than the language course, and the exam duration will be two hours. Each question would carry four marks for the correct answers, while there will be a deduction of one mark for every wrong answer.
