JEE Main 2022 Session 2: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main examination 2022 will begin its second session tomorrow, July 25, under the direction of the National Testing Agency (NTA). Up to July 30th, it will continue. On its official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, the organisation has made the entrance exam admit card available. Candidates can check in individually to download their hall tickets.
JEE Main session 2 in 2022 will be held in two shifts, much as session 1. The first shift will run from 9 am to 12 pm, while the second shift will begin at 3 pm and go until 6 pm. Paper 1 (BE/BTech) will be due in three hours for candidates. The second paper will have a total writing time allotment of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The engineering entrance exam will be held in different centres located in 501 cities throughout the country and 22 cities in outside India.
JEE Main 2022 Session 2: Exam Guidelines
The test will be administered via a computer-based test (CBT). Candidates must use a login ID and password to check in to their assigned computers after arriving at their separate examination centres. A countdown timer and exam questions will both be shown on the screen, with the timer located in the top right corner of the screen. Candidates must report to the invigilator right away if they do not receive the exam paper they requested.
JEE Main 2022 Session 2: Documents Needed
Candidates must present their admit cards and a self-declaration (undertaking) that was downloaded from the NTA website. After the pandemic, the self-declaration form was implemented to make sure the student is in excellent health.
The official notice states that a candidate “shall not be permitted to sit the examination under any circumstances by the Centre Superintendent without a valid Admit Card and authorised Photo ID.” The applicants are required to bring a valid ID and a photo along with their admit cards.
JEE Main 2022 Session 2: Items Not Allowed
In the examination room, candidates are not permitted to bring any instruments, a geometry or pencil box, a handbag, a purse, any type of paper, stationery, textual material (printed or written material), eatables and water (loose or packed), a mobile phone, earphone, microphone, pager, calculator, docupen, slide rules, log tables, cameras, tape recorders, electronic watches with calculator functions, any metallic item, or electronic gadgets/devices.
JEE Main 2022 Session 2: Exam Pattern
Papers 1 and 2 will be the subject of the second session’s two papers. Undergraduate engineering programmes in BE and BTech are admitted through Paper 1, whereas BArch and BPlanning programmes are admitted through Paper 2.
Paper 1 will contain two sections, Section A with multiple-choice questions (MCQ), and Section B with questions that need a number value to be entered as the answer. According to the marking structure, applicants will receive four marks for selecting the correct or best response to an MCQ question. For each attempt that is unsuccessful, one mark will be subtracted. Questions that are not attempted will not receive any points. There will be two sections in Paper 2. Twenty multiple-choice questions (MCQs) will be found in section A, and five questions that require numerical input will appear in section B.
