Indian Army HQ Northern Command Group C Recruitment 2022: Headquarter Northern Command, Indian Army, Ministry of Defence, Government of India is recruiting for the posts of Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade), Vehicle Mechanic, Cleaner and Fireman. Notice has been issued in Employment Newspaper dated 23rd July to 29th July 2022.
10th pass candidates can apply offline and send their application within 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement which is 22 August 2022.
Selection will be made on the basis of a written test and a physical test. To pass in the written examination, at least 33 percent marks have to be obtained. Through this recruitment process, 5 posts of Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade), one post of Vehicle Mechanic, one post of Cleaner, 14 posts of Fireman and 2 posts of Labor are to be filled.
Know Eligibility Criteria –
Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade)- Matriculation or equivalent. Must have Civil Driving License for Heavy Vehicle and should have two years experience in driving such vehicles.
Vehicle Mechanic – 10th pass and 1 year experience. Should be able to read numbers and names of tools and vehicles both in English and Hindi.
Cleaner – 10th pass or equivalent. Must be proficient in trade.
Fireman – 10th pass. Must be familiar with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, hose fittings and fire equipment and equipment, fire engines, trailers, pumps, foam branches and must be familiar with the use and maintenance of first aid, fire fighting equipment and trailer fire pumps.
Must know the primary principles of fire suppression methods employed in fighting different types of fires. Must be familiar with the feet and equipment fire service drill and must be able to perform the work assigned to the members of the fire crew.
Must be physically fit and able to perform his/her duties and should pass specified test.
Mazdoor – Must be 10th pass.
Talking about the age limit for Mazdoor, Cleaner, Fireman and Vehicle Mechanic, 18 to 25 years for General category, 18 to 28 years for OBC category and 18 to 30 years for SC category. On the other hand, if we talk about the age limit for the driver, then 18 to 27 years for general category, 18 to 30 years for OBC category and 18 to 32 years for SC category. The written test will be of 150 marks. Whereas the physical test will be of qualifying nature.
