India Post Recruitment 2022: There is good news for the candidates who want to make a career in the Department of Posts because India Post has issued a new notification for the recruitment of staff.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official site of India Post (indiapost.gov.in) on or before 24 July.

Applications are invited from eligible officers for filling up 2 (two) posts in Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) (General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted-Ministerial) in Pay Matrix Level-02 (19900-63200).

Essential Qualification –

Must have valid driving license for light and heavy motor vehicles.

Knowledge of a motor mechanism (the candidate should be able to remove minor defects in the vehicle)

Must have experience of driving light and heavy motor vehicles for at least three years.

Must be 10th pass from a recognized board or institute.

The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation/absorption should not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. The period of deputation, which includes the period of deputation immediately preceding this appointment in another ex-cadre post, in the same or some other department of the Government admitted, shall ordinarily not exceed three years.

Through this recruitment process, 1-1 post of driver will be filled in Rohtak and Hisar. No provision of reservation exists for the post to be filled through this recruitment process.
