PATNA: Delhi Public School, DPS Pune students Kuhu Goel and Ashish M won first place in Stage 1 of the CCCC Cryptic Crossword Contest (CCCC 10.0). Prasoon Mishra and Sanvi Verma of Delhi Public School Patna are in second place, while Adya Singh of Notre Dame Academy Patna is in third.
The overall ranking was declared after considering the combined scores of the three online rounds of the crossword contest 2022, held on June 5, 12 and 19.
Prasoon Mishra and Sanvi Verma of Delhi Public School Patna are at the top of the national rankings based on their third-round results. Kuhu Goel and Ashish M of Delhi Public School Pune and Abhinav Gupta and Shrey Jain of DPS Ludhiana, respectively, took second and third place.

With the completion of the online Stage I of the three-stage contest, a face-to-face online round and offline city rounds shall be held for the overall top 100 scorers of the leaderboard.
The current edition of the yearly contest, CCCC 10.0, features three phases. Stage I was conducted entirely online, whereas Stages II and III would be conducted in a mixed format.
The CCCC, which is organised by the Extra-C and is included in the Limca Book of Records as the largest event of its kind, takes place every year as a pan-India test of memory, vocabulary, cunning wordplay, and cognitive skills.
