UP Board: The pass rate for boys in the exam was 81.21 percent, while the pass rate for girls was 90.15 percent. The exam was taken by a total of 22.37 lakh students, with 12.07 lakh boys and 10.30 lakh girls taking part.
The UP Board of High School and Intermediate announced the class 12 results at 4 p.m. on Saturday, with a passing percentage of 85.33 percent. The pass rate for boys in the exam was 81.21 percent, while the pass rate for girls was 90.15 percent. The exam was taken by a total of 22.37 lakh students, with 12.07 lakh boys and 10.30 lakh girls taking part. The total number of students who registered for the exams was 24.10 lakh.
The class 12 examinations were held from March 24 to April 12 this year at 8,316 centres across the state.
Divyanshi of Fatehpur’s Jai Maa SGMIC took first place in the exams, scoring 95.40 percent. With a score of 95 percent, Anshika Yadav of Bacha Ram Yadav Inter College in Prayagraj came in second, and Yogesh Pratap Singh of Sri Sai Inter College in Barabanki district came in third.

The pass rate for class 12 was 74.63 percent in 2020, but it has risen significantly to 85.33 percent this year. It was 70.06 percent in 2019.
Banda, with a passing percentage of 95.32 percent, came first in the examinations, followed by Hamirpur, with a passing percentage of 93.01 percent. Lucknow, the state capital, came in third with a passing rate of 92.16 percent.
