After the announcement of NEET UG Result 2023 by NTA on Tuesday, June 13, the process of counseling for the admission of 11.45 lakh candidates declared successful from across the country on the basis of their performance in this year’s Medical, Dental, AYUSH and Nursing Undergraduate Entrance Examination will be organized. Based on the score and rank released by the NTA, the candidates will be allotted seats in centrally funded medical education institutions and 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in private colleges funded by all state governments and state quota of these state institutions.

The counseling for admission to Central Institute seats and All India Quota seats is conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) of the Union Health Ministry. Candidates who have been declared successful for AIQ seats of Central Institutes or States will be able to register themselves through NEET UG Counseling 2023 Online Registration Form to be made available on the official website of MCC, mcc.nic.in. As per the information received, the counseling will be organized by MCC during the month of July 2023. Candidates keep visiting the official website of the committee.
NEET UG Counseling 2023: Counseling for State Quota seats
On the other hand, the candidates who have been declared qualified for State Quota seats in Medical Colleges of various States, through counseling to be conducted by the Department or Directorate of Health/Medical Education of that respective State Government or by a special committee constituted can enroll. The counseling for state quota seats can also be started in July. Candidates can get information regarding counseling from the website of the health department or directorate of the concerned state.
