Manipur Schools Reopen: In Manipur, schools for grades 1 through 8 began operations on July 5. The Education Department had ordered on Monday that the state’s schools that had been closed due to caste conflict since May 3rd would reopen on July 5th. Normal lessons from classes 1 through 8 will resume for all schools in the state starting on July 5, 2023, according to Director of School Education L Nandkumar Singh’s order, which trumps all previous orders issued in this regard. The Education-School Department of Manipur has asked all regional education officers to inform all parties involved and take appropriate measures.
