Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy said, “It will change the lives of many poor children. This project is about handling government school children so that they can clear the CBSE exams of 10th and 12th with full color. This is the dream of all of us, and the partnership will greatly strengthen it,” it said, adding that the enhancement of visual presentation and content will begin in government schools from class 4th to 10th.

“Contents available to private school children and those subscribing to quality content will cost around Rs 20,000 to 25,000 per year. Now it will be available free of cost for government school students. Apart from this, the government also has to give tabs so that digital experience and digital knowledge are available to children,” added CM Jagan.

While talking to the CM in the same program, Byju’s CEO Byju Raveendran said, ‘We met a few days ago and now we are signing the MoU. The Andhra Pradesh government is moving ahead at a faster pace than even a startup. It is commendable and unbelievable for the government to move forward at this stage. I am excited about the opportunity given to us. Government school students should get the same access to quality education as their counterparts in private schools. Earlier, CM Jagan had on June 2 launched the ‘14400’ app developed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) and it is dedicated to people registering complaints related to corruption against officials in the state. The app also aims to ensure foolproof evidence to be presented before the court.

The ACB developed the app under the direction of the 49-year-old chief minister as many of these complaints could not be supported with evidence, leaving the case vulnerable. So, to make it easier for the people, a sophisticated app has been designed to help people report corruption.
