IIT Roorkee: IIT Roorkee, in association with MoRTH and IRC, is organizing the 4th 15-day Certification Course for Road Safety Auditors as per the latest course material and guidelines prepared by MoRTH and IRC to meet the eligibility requirements of Road Safety Auditors.
This course will be an excellent opportunity for Engineers, Consultants, Practitioners, Researchers etc. to enhance knowledge, skills and get themselves certified in the field of Road Safety Engineering and Auditing. Examination/assessment will be done for issue of accreditation from IRC. As per the advice of the ministry, this time the 4th RSA course will be conducted from 30th May to 13th June 2022 at IIT Roorkee. Other information about the course, such as program schedule details will be informed to the registered candidates later. The final selection of candidates for the certification course will be done in two phases. Initially, aspirants have to fill the registration form to show their interest in the course. The last date for registration is 16 May 2022. Shortlisted candidates will be informed by 18th May 2022 to make payment latest by 23rd May 2022.

What is security audit
The rule is that before commencing work on any greenfield or brownfield road project, its safety audit is done. In this, it is investigated that if the vehicle moves on the road with full capacity in this situation, then how much is the possibility of an accident. When this audit has become mandatory, the road safety task is done. This is because it will not be opened to traffic until a complete security check is done.
