Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2022: Notification of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) can be issued soon. At present, the eyes of the candidates who want to make a career in teaching are fixed on the notification of CTET. After the release of the notification, candidates will be able to register for this exam by visiting the official website ctet.nic.in. CTET is conducted to assess the eligibility of teachers for primary (classes 1 to 5) and upper primary classes (classes 6 to 8) in central government schools.
What is the importance of CTET?
CTET is a central level eligibility test. Apart from this, most of the states also organize teacher eligibility test at the state level. The candidates who clear the CTET are considered eligible to teach in various schools across the country. CTET exam is conducted for the candidates who want to make their career as a teacher. A certificate is issued to the candidates who clear the CTET, which is valid for lifetime. If you have done BEd, BTC or DElEd course, then you can appear in this test.
CTET consists of 2 papers
CBSE conducts the CTET exam. There are two papers in this exam – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 of CTET is conducted for those candidates who are eligible to teach classes 1-5 and for this they have the necessary diploma. Paper 2 is for those who want to teach classes 6-8 and have the required degree. Candidates who want to teach classes 1-8 have the freedom to appear in both the papers.
