Vacancy Details
A total of 1,768 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. Among these, 1,729 positions are current, while 39 are backlog vacancies.
Application Process
- Eligible candidates can submit their applications on trb.tn.gov.in.
- The application deadline is March 15, with a cutoff time of 5 pm.
Examination Details
- Tamil Language Eligibility Test:
- Part A consists of 30 questions to be answered in 30 minutes, with a total of 50 marks.
- Candidates must score a minimum of 20 marks (40%) to qualify.
- Main Subject Examination:
- Part B comprises 150 questions to be completed in 3 hours, with a maximum score of 150 marks.
- General category candidates need to score at least 40% (60 marks), while BC, BCM, MBC/DNC, SC, SCA, and ST candidates must score a minimum of 45 marks (30%).
Eligibility Criteria
- General category candidates should not exceed 53 years of age as of July 1, 2024.
Application Fee
- The application fee is Rs. 600 for all candidates, except SC, SCA, ST, and differently-abled persons, who are required to pay Rs. 300.
