In a groundbreaking move, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced free education for girls in both government and private colleges across the state. This initiative is targeted at families with an annual income not exceeding Rs 1.80 lakh, aiming to break barriers to education.
Government Support Beyond Limits
To further support education, the state government is set to cover half of the college fees for girls from families with incomes ranging between Rs 1.80 lakh and Rs 3 lakh. This commitment ensures that financial constraints do not hinder deserving students from pursuing higher education.
Comprehensive Development Plans Unveiled
Beyond education, Chief Minister Khattar revealed ambitious plans for Samalkha. The decision to elevate it from a municipality to a municipal council marks a significant step in local governance. Additionally, plans to create two sectors, each spanning 100 acres, demonstrate a commitment to holistic development within accessible areas of Samalkha.
In his address, Khattar highlighted the state’s achievements since 2014, emphasizing the government‘s dedication to eradicating corruption, reducing crime rates, and eliminating caste-based politics. The Chief Minister underscored Haryana’s attractiveness for investment, focusing on key areas such as education, health, security, and good governance.
