UPSC ESE 2024: The Union Public Service Commission announced the opening of the registration of the UPSC Engineering Services application. Interested candidates can apply on their official website, upsc.gov.in. However, the application process will take place in two parts including the registration bit and then the form filling and fee payment bit. During application, the candidates will be asked for their Email ID, mobile number, passport-sized photograph, signature, valid identity card (PAN or Aadhar), academic details and certificates and the required fee amount.
Important dates
On 6th September the registration went live, and the portal was open for all interested candidates to apply. Moreover, this registration will close on 26 September 2023, post that, the candidates will be unable to apply for this exam. The dates of the exam and results are unofficial at the moment. However, the tentative date of the exam is 18th February. Furthermore, the admit cards will be released before the exams. Candidates who fail to get the admit cards, will not be allowed to take the exam.
How to apply
Follow the steps given below to apply for the UPSC ESE 2024
Step 1- Go to the official website, upsc.gov.in
Step 2- On the homepage, go to the “What’s New” link and click on it
Step 3 – Find the “UPSC ESE exam 2024” option that says ‘click here
Step 4- The candidates will be asked to do a ‘One Time Registration’ by filling in the required credentials
Step 5- Once the One Time Registration is done, go to the application form section and fill in the details
Step 6- Upload the documents as per the requirements
Step 7- Once the form is filled and the documents have been uploaded, make the payment through the payment portal
Step 8- Re-check the information filled in for any errors and click ‘Submit’
Step 9 – Download a copy of the application form and print it out for future needs
